Bach Flower Essence Therapy
What
is it?
The Bach Flower
Essences are a system of 38 Flower Essences that correct emotional and
mental
imbalances, by restoring negative emotions and thought patterns with
positive. The Bach Flower Essences are 100% safe and natural,
therefore safe for children, pregnant women, pets and elderly alike.
The modern tradition of healing
with flowers began with Edward Bach, an English physician. In the early
1930s, Dr. Bach discovered that many of his patients displayed various
emotional and psychological difficulties before the onset of physical
disease. (He also noted that those same responses, such as fear, anger,
jealousy and anxiety, would complicate physical disorders, making them
more difficult to treat.) Concerned about the side effects of drugs, Dr.
Bach searched in nature for a solution to the problem of emotional
healing, eventually discovering 38 flowering plants and trees that
alleviated a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
Today, these 38 "flower remedies" are used worldwide.

Breathwork
What is it?
Conscious breathing,
conscious resourceful breathing, rebirthing, and conscious connected
breathing, are all types of breathing that can facilitate
accelerated personal growth.
Conscious Breathing:
The Conscious Breathing Process™, is a powerful
breathing meditation for personal growth and awareness that makes
use of conscious, resourceful, breathing patterns in combination
with Somatic Processing techniques to release and re-integrate the
blocked energy of suppressed emotions and dis-empowering belief
systems.
Training:
The purpose of training in
Conscious Breathing is to free the breathing mechanism from the
effects of Stress Adaptive Breathing Syndrome and a lifetime of
frozen breathing patterns, by bringing the participant through a
series of breath releases.
The "breath
release" is the point where deeper breathing ceases to be a struggle
and is replaced by a full, free, effortless, breath that seems to
self-generate. Once a person has been coached successfully through
the breath release and has mastered the five principles of conscious
breathing, they are empowered to use the process on their own,
anywhere, anytime, to maximize their enjoyment of every part of
life.

Continuum Movement
What is it?
Essential Elements Of
Continuum
BREATH
All movement originates with breath. Fixations, compensatory
patterns, family history, trauma and emotional stress are all
maintained in the movement or inhibition of breath. By engaging with
variations in breathing, we are able to stimulate a wide spectrum of
internal sensations, responses and movements. Healing, growth and
all mobility, whether physical, emotional or spiritual, are enhanced
by the dexterity of breath.
SOUND
Sound is audible breath, penetrating the density of locked tissue.
It eases mobility while releasing areas of stagnation and stress.
Specific sound frequencies engage various systems of the body. By
coupling sound with movement, we increase the agility of both.
Sounding further connects us with each other and to the resonant
whole, providing another source for communication.
MOVEMENT
Continuum’s movements are designed specifically to enhance the
undulating spirals and circularity of the fluid system. A full range
of non-patterned movement, from dynamic full-bodied expression to
subtle micro-movements, stimulates neurological growth and vibrancy.
Undulating wave motion permeates tissue, softens boundaries and
amplifies sensation. Wave motion is the primary access to our
bio-intelligence that is not bound by time, space or condition.
SENSATION AND
PLEASURE
In Continuum, we use sensation as a guide for awakening the body’s
mysteries and the activating principle of the life force that feeds
and nurtures the entire system. Sensations of pleasure create an
inviting climate for self-renewal. |
